is it hard for someone with no exp. to start a news/blog website? - Blog Design
| is it hard for someone with no exp. to start a news/blog website? i want to buy a domain name from go daddy and start blogging and putting up news about a special interest. I no absolutely nothing on how getting it started and wanted to know if its something id be able to pick up pretty fast. I have no problems with learning new things on the computer. Also does it matter if i use a mac. I dont want to take a class in web designing because i already have a full schedule this semester |

Hey there.It is not really hard to get a blog up and running. WordPress is very simple to install and to handle. There are plenty of free plugins and themes to change your blog's face. If you can spend some time to learn how to write posts there is nothing that can stop you :) |
| You don't need to pay anything to be able to start a news website or blog. Wordpress, Blogger and Livejournal, for instance, can give you a site for free. You just have to sign up with your chosen blogging site and it will lead you to your own blog spot right away. They have plenty of blog templates to choose from but you're also free to customize these templates by changing the color scheme and adding a some pictures. |

But it doesn't matter if the blog is very simple as long as it contains some information that is needed. |

It's possible but I would recommend starting with a free account. It can be a bit frustrating when you have only about 24 views on your blog and you've had it for three weeks (personal experience) so if you start of small, gain courage and confidence then expand if you really desire too. It's a matter of feeling comfortable with what you are doing. |
