| Yahoo! Answers: How do you get the Recommend button on your blog on Tumblr? I tried going to "Directory" and then "Get Listed" But then I wasn't sure where to go from there. I was thinking maybe use an HTML and just get the picture of the button and hide it behind a link? But how would I do that when customizing? For example, I would like it like this blog: http://prettyfaceddork.tumblr.com/ Please help?!? |

To add a direct link, go to Customize. Depending on where you want your link, click on Info or Theme. Info would be the easiest to add your link to, unless you know what you're doing if you clicked on theme. So, this is the HTML code for linking stuff- TITLE Now to make your recommend link it is just http://www.tumblr.com/ directory/recommend/ CATEGORYFORYOURBLOG/ YOURUSERNAME (NOTE: it is without the spaces after each / i only put a space because it wouldnt let me post this otherwise) so change "CATEGORYFORYOURBLOG" to the category you want to be recommended for. and then "YOURUSERNAME" to your blog username. and copy that whole url into the first code. for the title part you can put "recommend me" or use a picture code if you wanted, anything you want pretty much. hope that helped! |
