It used to be much better. It's more difficult to setup templates now and over does the widgets.The result of too many widgets is slow loading pages, many never completely load, and often blinking, distracting, and irrelevant crap on the blogs. Keep your blog, crisp, clean and readable. Then put some interesting content on it! Interesting content next to blinking, or otherwise annoying crap won't build a readership. Now will all those widgets and annoying junk build readership on a blog full of uninteresting content! Oh yeah, don't forget to select a font size that is large enough to be easily read. In conclusion, I would say that blogspot can be a nice platform, but is often poorly used and fairly to meet that description. |

Blogspot could be a good option but it is not really the best blogging platform you can use.
